How we work

Selling something you've built is personal. Here's what to expect if you talk to us.

From first call to handover

  1. A conversation

Usually an introduction from someone you know, then a call or a coffee. No figures needed yet.

  2. A look at the business

Under a confidentiality agreement, we review customers, suppliers and accounts together.

  3. A clear proposal

In writing: what we'd pay, when, and how the handover would work. If it isn't a fit, we'll say so quickly and explain why.

  4. Completion

Handled by specialist solicitors and accountants on both sides.

  5. The handover

You stay involved for two to three years, introducing us to customers and suppliers at a pace that suits them.

Payment and confidentiality

Part is paid on completion and the rest over the handover period. That gives your customers time to get to know us, and keeps us both focused on looking after them.

We talk to one business at a time, and nothing you tell us goes further without your agreement.

Start with a conversation

In confidence, and at whatever pace suits you.
